Do I need my own horse to take lessons?

No horse? No problem. We provide well-trained, reliable lesson horses for riders who don’t have their own. You’re welcome to ride your own horse if boarded at Holly Hill.
What should I wear for my first lesson?

We recommend long pants, a fitted shirt, and closed-toe boots with a low heel. Helmets are required and can be provided if needed.
How long are the riding lessons?

Standard lessons last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, including time for warm-up, instruction, and cool-down.
